Korby and Americana darling Nora Jane Struthers wrote this song exactly 31 days ago, and upon careful review we felt that it was something that needed to be out in the world as soon as possible. It’s about being together and looking for common ground, in spite of our differences.
The day after we wrote our song, we made some calls and sent some texts to our neighbors and friends. Early the following week, a bunch of us descended on our friend's house in east Nashville and recorded Let’s Just Have Supper. I reached out to videographers Scot Sax and Stacie Huckabe to document the effort, and that’s how this video was born. We are really excited to share it with you! NPR writer Jewly Hight tells the story and records an interview with Nora Jane and me. Check it out on the NPR site!
