King of Hearts CD
There’s a reason why the King of Hearts is the suicide King. For this record I wanted to do something I hadn’t yet done so I wrote this collection of songs around a specific band of talented players Andrew Simmons, Scott Mercado, and Michael Connolly. I was living in Seattle at the time in the basement of my childhood best friend’s house. I remember hearing the lead single Bored on KEXP twice in one day feeling like I’d made it. Self-produced.
